Just Another Rest Day: SM, Bible Study, Monthsary & More

L-R: Me, Nate, Beb, Diane of SM San Mateo & Ms. Mhel of Marikenya.com

We all get thrilled during rest days, I mean who doesn't anyway? When I think of rest days, I think of sleep, time with Nate and rest! Ahhh! Can we have 5 days of rest and 2 days work instead? Lol!

Last Saturday, I was invited to witness the SM City San Mateo's Grand Christmas Launch so a few hours after work, I slept to reenergize before the event. SM City San Mateo kicked off the season of gift-giving with the ceremonial lighting of its holiday centerpiece featuring the most awaited Disney short file, "Olaf's Frozen Adventure."

It's funny how Nate tried to analyze the movie trailer, especially the part where Olaf almost melt because of fire. Almost 100 kids (except Nate, lol) were wearing colorful Frozen-inspired costumes attended the event.

Hopia of Goin' Bulilit hosted the SM San Mateo Holiday Launch
The lighting of the centerpiece was headed by SM City San Mateo's Mall Managers, Mr. Joey Tanyan ang Ms. Lorna Paderon, joined by Rizal and San Mateo government reps.  Olaf's Frozen Adventure Display will be at SM City San Mateo's mall atrium from November 11, 2017, to January 7, 2018.

After the event, we ate and roamed around the mall briefly, ordered Sinigang na baboy in Kuya J and went home. We ate (again, lol). We were done just in time for our bible study.

We have a weekly bible study in the neighborhood. Our pastor talked about the importance of fellowshipping during our last meeting. Unfortunately, 'di namin natapos since Nate said he was sleepy already. Habang pinapatulog ko sya, pati ako nakatulog na din!

Sunday is always church day for us. I had to wake up early to study my Sunday School lesson with the youth. Last Sunday was no ordinary day for Dane and me. It was our 4 years and 11 months together as married couples. Next month, on 12-12, we'll celebrate our 5th year together. We greeted each other online and said our "I love you"s, nothing extra special happened, lol!

In celebration of our 4 years and 11 months of marriage, here's our DIY prenup photo featuring my poor editing skills, fat face, and muscles!
Yesterday was "back to reality" day, haha! I was supposed to write this blog yesterday but I decided to just spend the entire day with Nate. We played, talked, laughed and cuddled. It's still the best feeling ever.

How about you, how did your weekend go?

  1. I took advantage the long weekend to finish my errands and tasks too, habang wala pasok si hubby. Parang sa dami ng gagawin, bitin pa yung 3 days na wala pasok. My son has classes so hindi talaga bakasyon. Fat face and fat muscles na ba yan? Mukhang di naman.
