"Life" Chapter 24 Page 1 of 365

Photo taken on 12-12-12, 16 days before my birthday...

And so I turned 24 today...I am so thankful to our God Almighty for all the blessings I have for this year. He gave me a healthy body, He gave me a home-based job, He gave me a very supportive family (and 6 people added to the family), He gave me someone I can call a "husband" and a "partner" for life. God is great because He never leaves us, His promises are all true and we just have to really trust Him fully, without any doubt. I can't thank God enough! He has been so great in my life, He gave me people who care for me, people I can call "friends", His grace is more than enough! It really is so much more than enough!!!

God is great! Soo great I cannot fathom His greatness! May my life be pleasing unto Him! He alone is worthy to be praised, magnified and glorified.

And today, on my birthday, I would like to give all the glory and honor back to God and God alone!!! Thank you so much Lord!!! Thank you so much!!

I am a wife...And I am 24! :)

FUN SIGNS (exclusive) :D

They made me do something strange and I accepted the challenge. After doing so, I made a vow that I'm not doing it again UNLESS for a very "reasonable" reason :D.

Maria Tessa Suarez (left) and Julive Bucog (right)

I don't do fun-signs (fan signs) because first of all, I'm not an actress-and second of all, I have no fans! :)) But I made an exemption for these two gorgeous ladies. Why? You'll soon find out. ^______^

So who are they? I'd like to think of them as my "dear old high school friends and classmates". I've known Tessa (Upper left) since elementary. We grew up in the same town together and I've always consider her a dancer :). Julive (upper right) on the other hand, I've known her since 1st year. We honestly don't have the same circle of friends (they are in one group though) but I was in a totally different group of friends! Nevertheless, I still think of them as two of my dear friends.

Well, I think our only main denominator is Facebook and  singing! They love dancing, I love dancing too-but dancing is extremely rude on me! hahahaha! I'm happy how technology brought us together, I never thought I'd still get to communicate with them but in this age-everything is possible in one click!!!

I always wish them good health and a happy, fulfilled and contented lives. And of course a life well pleasing to God.

I love you both! Take care always! :D

Here are the strangest things I made for them! hahaha!

We were both living away from our immediate family since 2006. God is great because He made our ways crossed and gave us love for each other that we've decided to tie the knot and exchange our vows before the Lord on December 12, 2012.

This Is Christmas

My husband was playing this song few months ago and I have to admit, I didn't like it at first but when I listened to the message of the song, it has become one of my favorite songs. I hope you like it! May we not loose the true reason that we celebrate each year! God bless us all! Happy Holidays!

Song: This Is Christmas
Artist: Kutless
Album: O Come All Ye Faithful
BEC Recordings 2010

It's my husband's birthday!!!

You're everything I wanted and hoped you would be
You're the best thing that's ever happened to me
I'm sure it was meant for me to love you
and just as sure it was meant for you too
My greatest wish is always be together
To find each other all over again
and know this is forever
So thank you for choosing me to share your life
and even more for being your wife…

12-12-12 overnight swimming!

The supposed overnight swimming has turned all the tired folks into sleeping monsters around 2 in the morning! Lol! Nevertheless, everyone had a great time! Nothing beats a gathering of believers! Everyone burst into laughter…and everyone had such a great time making fun of the newly wed!!! hahaha!

Due to busyness with the preparations, I didn't have much time to really feel that we were getting married. Friends and families would ask me how I feel about me getting married, and I would just answered, “Pressured! I want this wedding to end already, it’s giving me nightmares!” :)

The Man I know I love

So, I am so in love with this man I call Dane. I know he loves me too. We’re getting married pretty soon by God’s grace and I’m excited to live a new life with him.
He’s the person I know I can trust and I can lean on. He knows me more than I know myself. Keeps me smile when I frown, that’s a hard work! But so far, he’s able to manage it well!
Quarrels-relationship’s nothing without it. And yes, we quarrel. But I would say he’s such a great guy that he doesn't let the sun go down without us reconciling. I am so blessed to have him.

Most thankful to God for giving him to me and giving us this GREAT FEELING for each other that keeps us going. As we are about to vow for togetherness, my prayer is that God will always guide us and that this love we feel will be treasured and emphasized in our household of faith. I pray that we’ll both still be a great tool and help for his work.

God is great for making people feel how to love and be loved.

This is him holding me.

Adults act childish too!

Taking things seriously this time :)

I created this post on August 13th 2012 but only posted it today. I've been very busy nowadays and honestly have no much time to create new posts but I will be doing that again pretty soon.

Right now, there's something more important that I have to do, and that's to prepare for our wedding! :)

This was back in April this year during the National Grace Youth Organization's Convention held at Philippine Christian University (PCU) Dasmariñas campus.

The City of Tagaytay (Filipino: Lungsod ng Tagaytay) is a component city in the province of Cavite, in the Philippines. It is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations because of outstanding scenery and cooler climate provided by its high altitude. It has a high standard of living. Tagaytay overlooks Taal Lake in Batangas and provides one of the iconic views of the Philippines, the view of Taal Volcano Island in the middle of the lake, viewable from several vantage points in the city.
Tagaytay is relatively close to the capital city of Manila, only 55 km (34 mi) away via Aguinaldo Highway, providing an easy escape for the locals from the heat of the big city. (from WIKIPEDIA

So my friend Ritchie and I were exploring the internet for more options on how we can beautify our blogs. And she stumbled upon a link to create a signature! :)

So we created one and now I'm trying it for the first time!

And here it is:

Hachi: A Dog's Tale (2009)

Are you a dog lover? If you are, I bet you'll love this movie!!!

Based on a true story from Japan, Hachi is a film about loyalty and the rare, invincible bonds that occasionally form almost instantaneously in the most unlikely places.

In the modern day, a class full of young students are giving oral presentations about personal heroes. A boy named Ronnie stands up and begins to tell of 'Hachiko', his grandfather's dog. Years before, an Akita puppy is sent from Japan to the United States, but his cage falls off the baggage cart at an American train station, where he is found by college professor Parker Wilson. Parker is instantly captivated by the dog. When Carl, the station controller, refuses to take him, Parker takes the puppy home overnight. His wife Cate is insistent about not keeping the puppy.

Honor begins at home.

From the wild opening scene through the heart of this story, Courageous, reveals the story of five fathers, all in law enforcement. One is a bit protective of his kids, yet has a healthy family relationship. Another has abandoned his girlfriend and their child before the little girl's birth. A third is a Hispanic worker struggling to find his role in a country where his work permit doesn't necessarily allow him to earn a living. A fourth is divorced, with visitation rights. The final father is the lead in the film - a dad disconnected from son and daughter because he prioritizes his job above his family.

Facing the Giants

An action-packed drama about a Christian high school football coach who uses his undying faith to battle the giants of fear and failure. In six years of coaching, Grant Taylor has never led his Shiloh Eagles to a winning season.

FIREPROOF (Never leave your partner behind)

A heroic fireman locked in a failing marriage accepts his father's challenge to take part in a 40-day experiment designed to teach both husband and wife the true meaning of commitment in this faith-based marriage drama starring Kirk Cameron and Erin Bethea. When he's battling blazes, Capt. Caleb Holt (Cameron) adheres to the old fire fighter’s adage about never leaving your partner behind; back at home, it's an altogether different story.

YOU! Yes, YOU!

All people have a mental picture of themselves, their strengths and weaknesses. This mental picture is called self-concept or self-image. It is formed through learned experiences beginning at birth. Self-esteem is the value judgement or degree of worth a person attributes to his or her self-image. Considered an important component of emotional health, self-esteem encompasses both self-confidence and self-acceptance.

Joy is not just plain happiness. It is a feeling of being fulfilled, contented and grateful. Many have been very happy but only some have experienced real joy.

Where I Belong Lyrics-Building 429

Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. (Lev. 26:4)

My country, after experiencing Typhoon Gener has faced the great  Monsoon rain which caused great floods in several areas in Central Luzon. Now, another low pressure is set to test the Philippines-typhoon Helen which will cause heavy rains and great winds.

Education, bills, career, job, family, vacation, money-are some of the things we think about everyday.

I personally worry a lot about life when I am a christian myself since birth.

We know that God will supply all our needs according to His riches and glory through Christ Jesus our Lord. The bible has so many promises about our God who will never leave nor forsake us. But can't we not help ourselves and worry sometimes?

so America decided to tell Great Britain that they were becoming an independent country.

In line with the July 4th Holiday, I'd like to share this wonderful article from Berean Bible Society about the liberty that we have received thru Jesus Christ our Lord. ENJOY! :)

Falling in L♥ve

Nobody's perfect until you begin to fall in love

Hidden Treasure by Ptr. Ricky Kurth

“In Whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3).

Everyone knows that when God told Solomon He would give him whatever he asked (II Chron. 1:7), Israel’s king asked for “wisdom and knowledge” (v. 10). However, in the parallel passage in I Kings 3, this account says that Solomon asked God for “an understanding heart to judge Thy people” (v. 9). Far from a contradiction, the variance in these parallel accounts is God’s way of giving us a fuller understanding of that for which Solomon asked, and a definition of wisdom and knowledge. Anyone possessing these two virtues would by definition have an understanding heart to judge or rule God’s people.

What Matters Most (Song)

It's not how long we held each other's hand
What matters is how well we loved each other
It's not how far we traveled on our way
Of what we found to say
It's not the spring you see, but all the shades of green

It's not how long I held you in my arms
What matters is how sweet the years together
It's not how many summer times we had to give to fall
The early morning smiles we tearfully recall
What matters most is that we loved at all.

It's not how many summer times we had to give to fall
The early morning smiles we tearfully recall
What matters most is that we loved at all.

"Falling in love is the greatest feeling we can ever have. Having someone to understand and take care of you something you have to be boastful for."

So we have to spend every minute we have with our loved ones and treasure them for the rest of out lives.

Fullness of Joy by Cornelius R. Stam

About 3,000 years ago David wrote in Psalm 16:11: "...In Thy presence is fulness of joy...."He was right, for there is no greater joy than personal fellowship with God. Yet David could not know the fulness of joy now spoken of in Paul's epistles, for he did not know Christ, who later came into the world as God, manifested in the flesh, to die for our sins. He did not know that Christ would make full satisfaction for sin and be raised from the dead to confirm our justification. Nor did David know that believers would be given Christ's resurrection life, and a position, and "all spiritual blessings IN THE HEAVENLIES in Christ" (Eph.2:4-6; 1:3).

When Paul wrote that God has called believers "unto the fellowship of His Son", he referred to a spiritual, heavenly fellowship, far more intimate and precious than any previously enjoyed by mortal man. This fellowship is to be enjoyed by faith, but it is faith based on fact, the fact that Christ indeed died our death and rose again from the dead that we mightpartake of His life and enjoy a position at God's right hand in Christ. This is why the Apostle Paul urges believers of this dispensation of grace to "seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God"(Col.3:1).

Peter and John both came to know much of this fellowship through Paul, who was sent to Jerusalem "by revelation" to make known to the leaders there "THAT GOSPEL WHICH I PREACH AMONG THE GENTILES" (See Galatians 2:2-9; II Peter 3:15-18). This is why John writes in I John 1:3,4: "Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son, Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE FULL".

Twice in the Book of Romans, once in Romans 3:22,23, and once in Romans 10:12,13, God uses the phrase, "There is no difference."
First it is used in connection with the guilt of man. Religious Jews, as well as godless Gentiles; cultured moralist, as well as degraded savages, are proved guilty before God.
In the first three chapters, their privileges and responsibilities are fully discussed, and their arguments are carefully considered. Then comes the awful verdict:

Must we not all bow our heads in shame and admit that the indictment is true? Must we not acknowledge that our condemnation is just? There may, indeed, be differences as to the nature or the degree of our sins, but in this there is no difference: that we all have sinned. And a just and holy God must condemn sin.

It is refreshing, however, to find the phrase used a second time in connection with salvation. Again religious Jews as well as godless Gentiles are included, but this time, how gracious the declaration!

In the matter of sin, God cannot be partial. He cannot be lenient with certain classes or groups whose advantages have been greater. All have sinned, and all must stand condemned.
But neither does He show partiality in the matter of salvation. The rich or cultured or religious are not preferred before others. The illiterate or immoral are not excluded. The Law condemns all, but Christ died to save all, that we might be "justified freely by His grace."
Friend, are you saved? Are you right with God? You can never hope to be accepted if you approach Him in your own merits, but if you come in the merits of Him who bore your sins, you cannot be turned away. "FOR THE SAME LORD OVER ALL IS RICH UNTO ALL THAT CALL UPON HIM, FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED."

Reunited, at last!

I left home back in 2008 and wasn't able to visit since then. I have been planning and hoping but I just get the right timing to do so. For the past 3 years I worked and I never neglected my responsibility to help my family considering I am the eldest child.

Late last year I made a decision to have my siblings come and visit me instead for summer break. That was the perfect time also since we would be having a biennial fellowship  in a near city. So I started saving from my salary so I can have my siblings come over. It wasn't easy since very seldom you can avail of the ticket promotions online if you don't have a credit card to use.  I had to let go of my personal interests first so I can have the three of them come. And God was great, He helped me all throughout!

March 21, 2012-finally!!!After almost 4 years, I got to see my siblings! :) I was shocked to see my brother who is now taller than me and our youngest all grown up! I just couldn't expect the, it wasn't happiness-it was JOY! A joy that money can never buy!!!
