I joined a contest...

I've always wanted to lose all my pregnant belly. I get envious every time I see women with kids who don't even look like they've been pregnant but sometimes, I don't devote to what I plan. This time, I won't fail.

I am determined to completely lose my pregnancy belly tummy. I have joined Enervon's Journey to Happiness and my goal was to stay fit and lose my post partum belly! I know it's not easy but I can do this!

I'm not just doing this for the sake of the contest. I know this goal will mostly be for my benefit. It will not happen in just a blink of an eye - it's a day by day process and I know there'll come a day where I will be lazy but I have to think of what motivates me the most!

Catching Up :)

Since I haven't updated my blog for more than a year, I thought I'd do a little timeline of photos over the past year about the most memorable events in my life. :)

I got a product sample!

Finally got my first beauty samples to try! I've availed of Himalaya Herbals Facial Wash, Cream and Mask. I can't wait to try them and see how they work for me. I will provide a review on each of them once I'm done trying.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Since I started working as  Customer Service Rep (way back 2009), I started to observe US's thanksgiving day. I've learned that Thanksgiving is one of the most observed holidays in the US next to Christmas and New Year's eve. Here in the Philippines, we do not really have a calendar holiday for thanksgiving. It's a great way to celebrate life, be with family and friends and be thankful for what we have. There are things I realize about thanksgiving:

The first thing I did when I saw him was poke his cheek! :)
What I only remember is I pushed so hard for the very last time and when I woke up, I just noticed I was already in a different room. I didn't know how long I fell asleep but when I woke up, I knew I was still very sleepy but managed to stay awake so I know what happened.

It's amazing when you get something delivered at your doorstep at no extra cost so I'm doing this as my way to say thank you to Huggies for giving us the free sample of Huggies Dry Pants for Nate to try.

Daniel's last post of my belly-shot, on our way to the hospital.
I was 23 when I married, got pregnant at 24 and became a mom at 25. My real labor was just for a few hours but it was really very painful. May 3 was my due date, Nathan didn’t decide to come out that day yet, we went to my OBGyn and found out that I was already 2cm dilated. Nathan passed the biophysical test with flying colors so we had to go back home. Doc said it was still too early to be admitted. That was a Saturday. Sunday, May 4th, we went to church to attend our regular worship service and head home to do some walking exercise with my hubby, Dane, my sister – Beverly, and my friend Melody. We decided to go visit the La Mesa Water Dam since it was just near our place which was really a perfect place to do some walking. What’s more fun is the hundred steps stairway (I guess) which was perfect for me. We went up, took a rest then went down. That was so tiring specially for me who 1 day overdue but I was feeling fulfilled that I was still able to do it.

The first cry I never heard
It was Monday after when we arrived at the hospital. I was with my husband Daniel and my sister Beverly at that time. The contractions were still bearable but have become regular when we were inside the cab. We headed to information department and where we were advised to proceed to the delivery section. I was so determined to have a normal delivery because of many reasons, 1. MONEY (of course, it’s cheaper J), 2. RECOVERY (I knew it was faster when on vaginal delivery), 3. SHORTER STAY IN THE HOSPITAL (I didn’t want to stay longer in the hospital, to save money as well. Lol!). I we had everything ready, my hospital bag was packed few months ago, but I was not ready for the “real” pain.
