Life of a WAHM and "helper-less"

Since the day Dane left to KSA, we always knew we needed a helper to help us with the household chores (specially that I needed to sleep during daytime because I work at night). I also needed someone to look after Nate when I'm at work (because of course, I can't work and talk to my customers with Nate playing in the background, lol!).

So before Dane even left, we had a helper already, the first 3 weeks was not easy for all of us. Nate didn't like her, didn't want to sleep with her. I'm missing Dane big time and I always find myself sad because I wasn't used to being away from him. It was a mess, but thankfully, after 3 weeks, Nate became close to her.

She was kind, she's a bit old but I like her. The only problem is she has so many responsibilities at home (she's a widower) and so there are times she could not go back right away. I let her go home during weekends. There was one time that she had to be absent for the entire week and that wasn't easy for us at all. So I decided to get another helper.

(Bonus: Nate trying to figure out what I was drawing, she thought the car was a cloud! lol!)

Mama's not good at drawing that's why napagkamalang clouds ang car. Ahaha Daniel Matugas

The first helper's exit was good, she understood why I needed to let her go, and every once in a while I would text her and ask how she's doing. The next helper was younger, moves quicker and to me is a workaholic. She's a single mom and she's nice too. The only problem is she left for home without telling me that she wouldn't come back anymore. So I didn't know what to do.

There's been so many days that I lack sleep because I needed to take care of Nate in the morning. I couldn't (as you can see) blog or do my webinars anymore because I can't find time for it. That's the life I have right now. Currently, I'm just with Nate and my mother-in-law. It's not easy but I think I'm starting to get used to it. And I'm not sure if I still need to get a helper, specially now that Nate is older.

Sorry for the long story, here's a smiling potato. lol!

Sundayvotion: Victory Over Death

Today, many celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many believe that His resurrection is the victory, without it, there's no hope. He was resurrected from the dead on the 3rd day after He was crucified.

The Apostle Paul, in 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 said "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures".

Today, I would like to briefly discuss why the resurrection of Jesus is very important.

1. Christ's victory over death (1 Cor 15:54).

The resurrection shows that His death is not like the normal death. What we know is that once we die, that's the end of life in this world. But Jesus' death isn't like the human death. The bible says: "When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

Had He died without being resurrected, His death would've been just like the normal human death. But the resurrection shows that He has the power over everything - even death. The resurrection shows that He is both a man and the Son of God.

2. God the Father accepted Jesus's work on the cross

Acts 17:31 says: "because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead." Jesus' work on the cross is our passport to salvation. If we believe that He died on the cross, buried and rose again for our sins and for us to be saved, and if we accept Him as our personal Savior and Lord, then we can be children of God.

3. Our Hope.

The resurrection gives us hope that after we die, we can have life again, the eternal life in Heaven with God. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 says "Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. "

The resurrection is a glorious victory for every believer. The scripture says, Jesus died buried and rose again on the 3rd day and it doesn't end there, Jesus is coming again to take his children to be with him in the heavenly realms. It guarantees that the believers will not remain dead but will be with Him in glory for all eternity.

May we all have a blessed Sunday! ♥

Sundayvotion: Loving our Parents

Last week was a tough week for me. The problems I had at home left me crying, I was in dilemma, I didn't know what to do. Then I thought I needed to call my mother to ease my pain, and so I did. We talked for about 40 mins and I was wailing like a little child on the phone. Before the call ended, my mother never failed to make me feel better.

I have experienced this so many times already. When I wouldn't know what to do, I turn to my mother and tell her everything and I feel a lot better. So even if we're apart, she's one of the few people I turn to when I need emotional lift. I remember when I went home, we would just talk about our lives and we'd sometimes cry because of what life has brought to us (all the difficulties we experienced and how we're able to get through it with God's help).

My mother is one of the people that God uses to comfort me and lift me up. I remember we had a huge fight when I was still in High School, she cried right in front of me because I was being hardheaded on her. At that time, I have to admit, "di ako naawa sa kanya", it was more of "baduy" for me to see her crying and I knew back then I wanted to apologize but I didn't say sorry. That's one of the things I regret in life now that I'm away. Now that I have a child of my own, I'd always tell my mother: "now I understand how difficult it is to raise a child, thank you so much for taking care of us and I'm sorry for being a headache before". Sometimes, I would say this to her as a joke, but I mean it.

I am so grateful for my parents. But at the same time, I was reminded that I should not just call them when I needed help. I should constantly call them (my family in Tagum) just to check on them and see how they're doing. Now that they couldn't go online that much anymore, my way to contact them is through phone.

Sometimes, we get too busy with our lives that we sometimes neglect checking to see how our parents do. For those who are living away from their parents like me, maybe now's the time to call them again, I'm sure they'd be delighted to hear about you and how you're doing. For those who live near them (or with them), it's an opportunity to always show and tell them how much you love them.

Sundayvotion: Nature Speaks of God's Greatness

Many of us love to be with the nature. It's one of the stress relievers a person can have. I hope many will agree that just watching the sun set, or feeling the gentle breeze of the air helps us relax and worry-free. Moments like that makes me forget all my problems and just capture the moment that I am at.

I am always amazed every time I see a beautiful blue sky, I don't know, there's something about it that makes me satisfied. :) The bible is true, when you look at the heavens, you can see how wonderful God's work is. I got to reflect on the verse in Psalm 19 verse 1 because of the experience I had with my son and my sister yesterday.

Since it was my off, I decided to take a walk to the hill located near us and take my sister and Nate with me. It was around 5 in the afternoon so the weather is perfect (it's too hot in our place already during daytime). I made sure to take my phone because I feel like it's the perfect time to take pictures, lol!

True enough, I was able to get a few good photos. I'm not a great photographer, so I can't really tell if it's technically good, but it is for me, and that's what matters! lol! I'd like to share a few of them here.

I would trade a mall for a great encounter with nature. I makes me reflect about my life, and it makes me thank God for the things that my eyes can enjoy. Do you love nature? What do you do when you get stuck in awe of the beauty of it?

Book Review: The Secret Story of Shy Shelly

Before I say anything else, I feel the need to admit that I am no bookworm. I'd rather watch movie than read a book, lol. The last time I tried to finish a trilogy was like 3 or 4 years ago (and I didn't finish even the first book, lol). So don't expect this review to be technical or something. Take this as a review from someone who's not so much into reading. :)

1. About the book
The secret story of Shy Shelly, written by Justine Hail & illustrated by Elbert Or. This book is about Shelly, a little girl who had a dilemma at school that needs to be resolved or she'll be bothered always. She has a little secret she had to keep from her friends and this secret is disturbing her that she needs to do something about it. And being a shy girl makes this secret even more troubling for her.

2. What I like about The Secret Story of Shy Shelly
This is a short story so I like this one. This story was told very simply that I bet any grade school student can understand or relate. My favorite character was the lead character - Shelly because her story takes me back to my elementary days. It made me remember the shy classmates I had in school and understand even more. It reminded me that expressing their thoughts and feelings can be very challenging for them.

This story is laid properly but it kept me guessing what happened next at the end of the book (I haven't read book 2 yet). My favorite part of the book was (of course) the time she finally had the courage to stand up and do something about her problem. This book gave me a clear idea of what shy people are and that speaking up is not as easy as I thought it would be. Which is why it is important to understand them and reach out to them, offer any help if possible and let them know we're always there for them.

I love to read this book and the moment I started reading it, I did't put it down anymore. I love the illustrations on the book as well, it made the story come alive even more.

3. What I don't like about the book
I don't think there's any that I like in this book, it's plain, simple, and satisfying in the end. I always want a happy ending and this book gave me that, so it's good. Actually, this book is perfect for gradeschoolers but I like this very much, haha!

4. Conclusion
So to round up my first book review, this book is so reader-friendly, short and nice. This is (as I mentioned) perfect for little kids (specially girls) who are timid and are afraid to speak up or socialize. Also an eye opener for those who aren't shy, you will get a view of what it feels like to be a shy person (and that you can't really judge them). Moms like me will also have a good read of this book, it leads us to understanding what their children might be experiencing in school. Also reminds us parents that bullying is definitely everywhere so we have to be watchful of those and need to check our kids at school from time to time.

Thanks to OMF for the opportunity to own and read this book. :)

Disclaimer: This ebook was sent to me for free by OMF Literature, Inc. to read and provide a review. All opinions in this review are of my own.

Nate's First Try on Photography :)

Nate made us smile last Sunday afternoon because of fondness in taking pictures! It's the first time he tried to take photos of the things he saw outside, he's just learned to use the camera (and the timer) on my phone and he was so happy it took him about an hour or more before he let go of the phone!

He was so cute, I can't help but share it here! Ah, my son is learning more and more everyday. Dane and I are both excited and sad for him. We're happy that he's developed each day but also sad at the same time, that Dane is not here to witness all these. Our goal is for Dane to "bawi" when he comes home. We want him to make up of the time he's away with Nate and I'm sure Nate will love that too. When I'd ask him if he wanted to play football/basketball/badminton with his papa, Nate responds with all smiles and a "high pitched" tone. lol. I know he misses his papa too and Dane missed him even more.

So going back to his photography, I'm sharing his funny positions here while he's trying to take photos of the flowers and leaves on Sunday. What's even more funny was at first, the camera was set to front cam but he'd still try to take photos of the leaves, he didn't care if it's his face that's occupying the camera screen. haha. Oh, kids are surprisingly cute and funny!

Photos taken by my sister because I was too busy taking videos to show to Dane. lol!

Nate's first try on the so called "nature photography" hahahaha. Way to go, son!
Posted by Nilyn EC Matugas on Sunday, March 6, 2016
That's the video (sorry it happened around 6PM so it's dark). But yeah, we had fun watching him. And some of his positions to take pictures are priceless!

Unfortunately, for some "I don't even know" reason, all the photos he took were not saved which made me really really sad. I was hoping to show those photos to him when he's a little older. Here's what I only got when we were already inside the house and he still wouldn't stop taking pictures.

Clockwise: His badminton racket and football, his tab, the "ice cream" on the photo album and his ball. All taken by Nate but I've edited the contrast/brightness/sharpness of these photo.
Update: Yesterday, he did it again and was able to capture a few nice shots, hehe. It's so nice to see his work. I know this may not mean anything to some but as a mother, it brings joy to see your child's work. :)
Left to right from the top: Me telling him to take a photo of the ant, a lovely rose that's out of focus, lol, another rose, a bedsheet hung on the clothes line with "karton" on the background, Nate's foot, leaves, rose stem, another foot! :)
Kids just bring so much joy to us. I can't imagine life without Nate anymore. We love him so much. What are the things that your child or a fave kid did that made you impressed? I'd like to hear!

Happy International Women's Day! ♥

In celebration with the international women's day, I would like to quote the bible verses in Proverbs about a virtuous woman, a mother and a wife. This is always a reminder for me every time I read these verses. I hope it will also remind other moms/wives like me.

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

We are beautiful in so many ways, and this world will never be the same without us. Let's continue to be an inspiration to the people around us. ♥

Shopping Options Nowadays

Back when I was young, I remember my mother would always (like, ALLWAAAYS) love to save on the things she buys (I mean, who wouldn’t, right?). I remember, she would buy us clothes from Ukay-Ukay (which sometimes I’d like but most often, I wouldn’t, lol!) and there were times she’d also sell Ukay-Ukays herself for our neighbors to buy.

We grew up in a rural area where mall isn’t very near our place so people would rather buy clothing from Ukay-Ukay or RTWs that they can find nearby. Direct selling was also very common in our place before. I could still remember, many women would knock on our doors and give my mother some catalogs to choose from so she could order stuff and pay for them later (Oh, I can’t stress the importance of “utang” back then, lol!). I really don’t agree with “utang”, even Dane and I want to live a life free of debts as much as possible because the stress is gonna kill you! Also, it destroys your reputation, a friendship and even relationship sometimes (specially if you forget to pay, whether intentionally or not). I don’t know, I think it just was a trend back then (and even now, many are still offering a “get-now-pay-later”). Not that I’m against it but for me, if the price isn’t too high and you can afford to pay for it right off the bat, go ahead and pay already so you won’t need to worry.

Good thing nowadays, we have more shopping options available. And most of them will require for you to pay cash, hehe. That's better for both parties for me (the company and the consumer), the company so they won't go bankrupt, and the consumer to live a stress-free life. lol. I think it was a few years back.

1. Ukay-Ukay/RTWs - "UK" are still very common nowadays, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I have many clothing that I got from "UK", lol. There are so many good items from Ukay-Ukay and many woman are talented when it comes to "treasure hunting" in ukay-ukays. However, recently, I found out I don't have much patience when it comes to hours of finding good clothing from an Ukay-Ukay anymore, first of all, there's no Ukay-ukay nearby, and second, it consumes a lot of time just trying to find a good item for you.

2. Direct-Selling - direct selling is still available nowadays and I still know a few dealers who can hand me those catalogs so I can choose my order and pay for them when they're available. Although, I don't remember the last time I ordered via direct selling anymore. lol.

3. Facebook "stores" - Tell me if you don't have a friend in your newsfeed selling stuff because I think most of us have those already. Some sellers find it great to sell via Social Media because their first prospects are their friends and as a consumer, you have that built trust already because you know you'll not be "scammed". My only advise is to be very careful with it. There are many stories of people being scammed online already (I've been a victim as well). I sometimes buy from my FB friends too to help them with their business, I know it means a lot to them, specially since they're just starting, so why would I not support that, right? :)

4. Reliable websites. Of course, we have these well established websites that we love to shop not only because they give you oozing discounts on their prices but also saves time, energy, effort and money (you name it)! We have to admit that online shopping has become so prevalent nowadays because you can order at the comfort of your home and have them delivered directly at your doorstep, no need to worry about fares going to the malls (or gas if you have a car), no need to worry about the time you'll get stuck in traffic, no need to worry about that salesperson you sometimes find very annoying 'coz she/he's been following you the entire time you're finding products to buy. lol!

I am a customer of online shopping from reliable websites. In fact, I have so many products I bought online. It's just great for mothers like me. I'm currently checking out date-ready dresses from ZALORA that I can keep on my shelf to use when Dane comes home (of course, I wanna be beautiful when he sees me again, lol!).

What's your shopping story? Do you like shopping online or would you rather shop on the malls? I'd like to hear from you :)

Sundayvotion: When Giving Up is Not an Option

Before this huge change in our lives took place, I knew being an OFW was difficult but it wasn't until we experienced in first-hand that I can say that it really is extremely difficult to work abroad.

After all these months of being apart from Dane, what I can only say is that it's really not a good option for a married man/married woman to work abroad. It doubles the loneliness. Singles, for me can do so without worrying much about who they left at home.

This past week has been very challenging for Dane and I but we're happy we're able to get through it. It was difficult for me to deal with a sick son without my husband with me. On the other hand, Dane is still faced with homesickness and loneliness in KSA.

Moments like these when we both almost want to give up but we know clearly that giving up in not an option on the list, we are most often comforted by God's word and by just reminding each other that this is just temporary and someday, he'll soon be back and we can all be happily together again.

During the times when we're about to give up, we can always find comfort through the words of God. We know that He's there and the reason we can still still live one day at a time and we can continue on. It's His promises that can keep us going. We believe that He would bless our hard work and this will all not go to waste.

In Proverbs 14:23, His word says: "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty". I know that behind all these loneliness, sadness and hard work, lies a promise that God will bless all our labors. And He can use us more for His ministry through our financial assistance and this will also provide us a better future. So, we rest assure in His promises and His faithfulness in our lives. We are confident that God will not leave us in this 2 challenging years. Just a few days ago, I posted something on Facebook in relation to this current situation that we have and it's about success.

Success doesn't happen overnight, I wish it does but it just doesn't work that way. Success represents years of...

Dane, also shared his favorite song on his playlist currently and it's about not giving up and about God's promise of help during dark times. Posting this here for those who might like it as much as I do. This has caused LSS to me already. hehe.

My Top 5 Lazada Wishlist ♥

I don't usually visit online stores because when I do, I end up either brokenhearted or envious, lol! I don't want to see so many wonderful things sold online when I know it's not on my budget to buy one. I usually just go to online stores when I know I needed to.

I haven't shopped much online but when I do, it's always via Lazada. It was my one stop shop before because I loved their small kitchen appliances. Just earlier this year, I also bought a 64 GB microSD card from then and some set of decorative pans for Nate's pancakes.

What I love about Lazada is that you can shop in one click, very true to its words about "effortless shopping". They're website is user-friendly, they're categorized nicely plus (of course) the search button you can use right when you need it! And let's not forget the unending discounts they offer online 24/7!

If you don't have a credit card (just like me), you don't have to worry, you can always arrange cash on delivery with Lazada as your mode of payment. Cash on delivery payments give me an added peace of mind since you don't really give your money out until you have the product in your possession. Plus, they deliver right at your doorstep, that's a sigh of relief for busy WAHMs like me.

Just recently, I visited their website again and I found so many amazing products I wish I could all buy! lol! But of course, I have to consider our finances. I can't just buy now without adding it on my budget list, Dane and I are in a very tight budget as we're wanting to save more before he comes back home so I'm careful with what I buy.

But there are things that you just can't resist, they're mouth watering (if they're food! lol!). So, for now, I have 5 things on my wishlist, all I found in Lazada. Let's start with the cheapest one! haha.

1. Rose C White 1000mg tablet bottle of 60
Good health is always our "puhunan". We are unproductive when we're sick so we always need a boost on our immune system. It's not easy when someone in the family is sick, it's expensive, it's a waste of time and it's frustrating. I've mentioned this before, let me say it again, last week, Nate was so sick due to coughs and it wasn't easy for all of us here at home. I had to take him to the doctor and have him checked, bought medicines, I even bought a nebulizer for him, all aren't originally on my budget. So, I'm sure everyone can agree on me that getting sick is really expensive. haha. I thank God he's finally well. I doubled his dose of Vitamin C to strengthen his immunity even more and it helped him recover.

Work-at-home-moms like me (or may I say all moms like me), need vitamin C so we all don't get sick right away, it's the last thing we want. So yes, this is definitely on my wishlist and I'm adding this to my budget list for my next pay so I can buy it. lol.

It doesn't just have vitamin C, it also has antioxidants and helps relieves symptoms of colds and stress. This is affordable and is already worth a 2-month supply of vitamin C, it's perfect to leave on the medicine cabinet for all the members of the family to use!

2. Cutie Jazz Drum Toy Set

When you become a parent, there's not a time that you won't think about your kids when shopping! lol! Nate is "in-love" with musical instruments. Maybe he got it from Dane and I since we're both into music as well. Of course, drums are not an exemption to this! lol! When we go to church, there's no way Nate is not playing the drums! It's one of the things that make him happy. He can stay in the drums for a very long time!

This lovely drum set comes with large tom tom, 2 small tom toms, 2 drum sticks, 1 Stanchion, and 1 Cymbal. What I like about this is that it's portable, easy to install and it's for 3-5 year olds, I'm already imagining Nate enjoying this one! The moment I saw this, I immediately shared it to Dane and told him I'm definitely buying this drum set when my pay comes! I bet it'll be an awesome addition to Nate's guitar (I bought a small guitar for him before as well). If I get it now, I get Php 400 off the regular price! Isn't that amazing?

3. Educational Wooden Toys
I want to be holistic when it comes to Nate's learning. I am trying to lessen his "screen time" by getting real toys and making him more physically active as possible. When choosing toys, I most often opt on educational products that he can enjoy while learning. And with this product perfect for the age range of 2-4, it's a perfect gift for Nate on his 2nd birthday in May.

This educational toy will certainly make learning fun while our kids are also learning. Not only that, wooden toys also keep our kids away from harmful plastics that most often contain BPA that can harm our little ones. It looks like this is at 57% off this time, that's really a great saving for me!

4. Enya EF-18 Acoustic Guitar
When it comes to musical instruments, it's the guitar that I can play well the most. I don't know how long I've been dreaming of buying an acoustic guitar for myself, all I know is that it's been years since I dreamed of buying my own guitar! lol. One of the reasons I couldn't buy is because every now and then, there are more important things I needed to spend my money for. Not only that, Dane already has his own acoustic guitar in KSA that he will take with him when he comes home, plus Nate has a small guitar that I can use when I want to play as well.

However, I can't deny that deep inside me, is still a longing to be able to buy I guitar I can call my own. :) What I love about this guitar is its color, and I like that it's not round, its body has a curve that can make you reach higher notes. Also, the price is affordable for me, compared to those I usually see in the stores.

5. DSLR Camera
Not everyone knows because I'm hesitant to share, but I've been joining an online course with foundation in photography and I'm starting to learn more about cameras and capturing shots but I couldn't practice so much because I don't have a DSLR, it'd be really great to be able to have one. Well, I'm kindda torn between a GoPro and a DSLR but at this time, with the course I am taking and the skills I want to learn, a DSLR is the way to go for me. I choose this product because it's the cheapest that I see in there, lol! And it's got freebies too, who doesn't want freebies anyway? haha.

As a beginner, I don't really need a camera with like the awesomest feature there is, that might be useless for beginners like me. I want to be better in taking photos not only because I'm a blogger but because I want to be able to capture more and more wonderful photos with my love ones. This is the most expensive item on my wishlist but I am hoping I'd be able to save some money to buy a DSLR for myself. I wish I could get it now since it's at oozing 15% off!

"Don't be afraid to give yourself everything you've ever wanted in life. Every once in a while, give yourself a treat!"

MARCHing ON! :)

I've been in a short hiatus with blogging for a couple of days because of a few things that kept me busy, but I am back! Because it's MARCH already!!! Can you even believe that? wow! It feels like it was just yesterday when we celebrated the new year. Amazing how time flies nowadays!

What do you have planned for March? I have a few on my list except for the unexpected ones that would maybe just pop up every now and then, lol. But for this month, I think this is going to be about finals and surprises! lol!

1. Nate is well!
First thing, I'd like to thank God for healing Nate's cough. He was prescribed an antibiotic because for about a week, he was coughing for almost 2 weeks and I can finally have my sigh of relief now that he's healed and is recovering from the weight he lost.

2. More to learn!
I also thank my workmate for introducing Shaw Academy, this kept me busy last month and I really enjoyed the learning process. It feels great to be able to learn new things at your own convenience, at the comfort of your home. I got my first course for free, and thankfully, they went on sale with MetroDeal for just Php 99 per course, so I hurried and got 3 more courses for myself. That will keep me busy this month and on April!

3. Surprise!
There are a couple of surprises I am planning to attend, of course, I won't say what it is because it'll defeat its purpose of because a surprise, lol! This is the only detail I can give out for now, but so far there are 2 surprise events I'm going to attend this month.

4. School Finals
Students finals are fast approaching, so time to save more for the tuition fees for the finals! lol!

5. "Self treat"!
I was wanting to get myself another haircut and hair treatment this month, hopefully, I'll be able to budget some for that! haha. If not, I'll go with a little clothes shopping for me and Nate.

6. Online wishlists
I saw a few products online that I also want to buy for Nate and for me. There's one thing I am itching to buy which is on my wishlist already and I hope I can buy it soon! :)

7. Miss Dane even more
I expect to miss Dane more and more as the time goes on and in the mean time, I expect for our relationship to even grow stronger, with God's help. Our communication has always remained constant but of course, we all agree that to be with our love ones in person is always a lot better but we are holding on to God's promise that one day, he will be back home and we'll be together again. There are times we'd wish he can go home right away but that's just not an option for now. So we continue to pray for his safety and (of course) good health while he's away from us.

For all these, I continue to "march" and push myself to enjoy, learn more and have fun this month. Again, I will not say, "March, please be good to me" but instead "March, I'll be good to you". No matter what God has in store for us this month. We will take it with great faith that God will always be on our side, no matter what.
