Wednesday Wreview: Hanamaruken Ramen (Trinoma)

Finally, after so many discussions, our date was set last Monday. We were child-free for a couple of hours (yahoo!) and we got to chat and had a really awesome time!

I was with my blogger friends, Berlin of Momi Berlin, Mhaan of Mommy Rockin' in Style and Melisa of Seafarer's Wife Diaries during this time, and believe me, it was not easy to set this date! haha. We had discussed this for hours on chat, checked if we're all available at this time and of course, asked permission from our hubbies if we could go out. lol. Turns out, we have the most supportive hubbies in the world so here we are! lol! (Thank you so much gents, you don't know how much this means to us, haha!).

Sundayvotion: Slow of Speech

Some say, there are writers who are only good on paper and pen. That is true because we are given so many different skills and talents. There are also some who are blessed with eloquence on both speaking and writing. And we know a few of these from the blogosphere.

The Diverse iOS Monitoring App that Requires No Installation

C:\Users\salman\Google Drive\Content Images\XNSPY\iPhone\Sep 2016\01.jpg
As a parent, have you ever wanted to try one of those fancy parental controls but something always got in the way?
Maybe it was the fear of having to deal with tantrums when you install the app on your child’s phone. Let’s be honest here, kids are not going to be happy with the fact that you want to track their every move.

Wednesday Wreview: SkinWhite Advanced PowerWhitening Lotion SPF20

During our church outing last April this year, I was so overwhelmed that I forgot to bring sunscreen. And the sky was cloudy at that time, the sun sometimes shows up, sometimes it doesn't. That's how I got my sunburn.

Sundayvotion: "Danger: Fall Hazard"

In hospitals, patients who experience bad fall are and are recovering are given bright yellow bracelet on their wrists that says: "FALL RISK". This bracelet means that hospital personnel need to take extra care of those patients as they are prone to being out-balanced. They might be unsteady on their feet so they need assistance from going one place to another.

Our Love Story and Why We're Holding On

I can still clearly remember. It was Sunday morning in September last year, we hugged and said our goodbyes while he kissed his one-year-old son. We smiled, pretended that everything was fine and were successful in holding our tears. Moments later, he gave his last hug, turned his back and went inside the departure area.

That was the day my husband left to work on a 2-year contract in Saudi Arabia.

Fun Indoor Games for the Whole Family

Family bonding is very important. It helps strengthen relationships and build social bonds. One way to bond is through playing games together. Playing games together creates happy memories that are worth keeping for while it also creates emotional and spiritual healing for you and your kids.

Playing indoor games is one of the most efficient and less costly activities to do for family bonding. Indoor games don’t require you a lot of preparation, all you need is the entire family and start having fun. So, whether it's raining outside or you just don't want to go out and would rather just spend time with your family at home, you can create lasting family bonding by playing indoor games.

Wednesday Wreview: Kuya J SM San Mateo

Last Sunday was a rainy day for people who experienced heavy rains last week. I'm happy we made it to church that day because we knew it was flooding on the road already.

Thankfully, we arrived safe and sound in the church, in spite of the heavy rain. Even though our visit to Valenzuela church was cancelled for the same reason, we were able to spend the entire day participating in the church activities.

Our youth service ended at around 6 PM, and since we still had to go to the market to buy our week's worth of food consumption, I didn't want to go home with an empty stomach anymore. I just wanted for all of us to be able to rest upon arrival and not worry about what to cook or eat anymore, so I decided we'd stop over Kuya J in SM San Mateo before heading home. It was our first visit to Kuya J and I'm glad I was able to finally try to dine in this restaurant, I didn't regret going here.

5 Things You Can do During Rainy Days

Remember how hot it was during summer that some of us wished it's rainy season already? Guess what, it's here! lol. It's been raining hard for the past week and I hope that everyone is safe because I've been hearing news about the flooding in Metro Manila and the great traffic caused by heavy rains. In fact, here in our place, some are already flooding too. Please take care, you guys!

Nevertheless, this gloomy weather makes it really difficult to go out, and even get out of bed! I wish I could spend all day sleeping and staying in bed, but I can’t and I shouldn’t! lol. For those who don’t need to commute to work, what do you do at home to make the bed weather a little more productive?

Here are some of the things we do during rainy days.

1. Bathe in the rain :)

If you are like Nate and I who love to play in the rain, do this! lol. Every once in a while we bathe in the rain, together with other kids in the neighborhood. The heavier the rain, the better. Haha.

I like to do this because it takes me back to my life when I was a kid – a worry free, happy kid. Plus, it’s an awesome bonding with Nate. I’m fortunate that we have awesome neighbors who completely understand that, in fact some of them do the same! Haha.

Sundayvotion: Finding Stillness in HIM

We live in a busy world where everything seems to be fast-paced and it seems like everyone is in a hurry.

To all coffee lover moms out there, I think you all can agree that when you wake up in the morning, you want to prepare yourselves a tasty cup of coffee. But as you prepare, you realize you have so many things to do. So you set aside your coffee, you cooked, you prepared your kid's/husband's stuff to work, you clean the house, hoping you could go back to your cup of coffee when you're done with the chores, only to find out that by that time, your coffee's already cold.

On Purchasing Guitars

About 5 months ago, Dane was able to buy a guitar in KSA. He said to help him with homesickness. I forgot what brand he bought but when it comes to guitar quality, I can always rely on my husband, so I'm sure he made a good choice on his acoustic guitar.

Wow, this weekend was a suuuper duper busy one for me! And because of that, I now have a big pimple on my face! haha! Ganito ako pag napupuyat at sobra sa pagod. Nonetheless, our weekend was so fun and productive! After work, I only slept for about 3 hours and headed to the party.

Sundayvotion: The Waiting

One of the tiring things to do is waiting. This happens in our daily lives and sometimes, they can be very frustrating. The long queue at a fastfood restaurant, the line in the government agencies where we try to file legal paper works, the process that we need to wait to complete something, we can all agree that these can be very dreadful sometimes. Nevertheless, most of the time, we don't have a choice but wait.

Wednesday Wreview: Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner

Thank God for websites like Sample Room, I get to try products that I want to try first before buying. Last month, I read about the Palmolive Naturals conditioner and some reviews made me really wanna try it out, tamang-tama, mejo di talaga ako satisfied sa dati kong brand.

When I found that Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner samples are available in Sample Room, I went ahead and ordered without hesitation (along with 2 other products - a soap and a Lip Balm) and paid for shipping and handling (Php 170 that is for all 4 products, provincial rate, based on weight, still a good deal for me).

Bye July, Hello August!

So I'm here so amazed at how July flew by so fast! Grabe, sobrang bilis ng panahon. On the other hand, I am thankful because that means I will see my husband soon (like in 2017, haha).

To be honest, I don't even know what we did last month, so I'm gonna try to remember the things that we did last month on this post. lol. Let's see what we have last month that I can treasure! :D (I'll have to look at my photo album, lol).

1. We had a Greenwich Pizza Launch on the first week of July and got to meet a new blogger friend (not to mention we got a free pizza for a year, woot woot!).
